Two years ago, my brother, Kosar, and I (Sara) started our NDIS business with one main goal, and that has been to 'encourage independence for a better life'.
When we started our business, we were both inspired by an interesting fact that not many know about. Back in 2017 The UAE introduced new terminology for people with disabilities, they now use the term people of determination, coming across this fact was an interesting way to encourage both of us to redefine how we perceive this large group of people that make up 18% of Australia's population.
At Priority To Care we understand that each customer is facing a specific and sometimes highly burdening daily barrier, whether it be physical, mental, or somewhere in between. However, we acknowledge that each customer wants to live the best quality of life and is determined to be as independent as they possibly can. We encourage independence and autonomy by creating person centred support plans. We listen to our customers' needs and goals and we model these into behaviours and routines within their support plan.
