At age 38 Jeff Shaw suffered a stroke and for 9 years he was unable to speak. Now hear, in his own words, a little of how he transformed his life and is now Founder and CEO of Disability Support Service, Give a Care, which supports over 500 people with disabilities across Melbourne's suburbs. On 22 October 2019, Jeff also launched our charity arm, The Give a Care Foundation, to help combat social isolation for people with different abilities.
