Marketing Officer

We are currently seeking a part-time Graphic Designer to work at our Bankstown office. We are seeking positive and energetic graphic designer ideally with experience working in the disability or community services industry, who can bring their unique skills and experience to our expanding team. The successful candidate will thrive in this role if they have strengths in collaboration and communication, creating graphic materials, and ideally have some experience in the disability sector. TLC provide opportunities for career progression, training and ongoing support to staff.

About the role
This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation in the disability sector. You will be involved in:

• Create graphic designs for online and printed content
• Manage regular social media content
• Consult and collaborate with our team to deliver creative, high quality design
• Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of existing designs
• Interpret and manage briefs, design and build creative campaigns and digital concepts
• Design and develop graphic communications across the website, EDM, social media, paid media, events, materials, print and product packaging
• Re-purpose creative concepts for all other digital requirements including social media assets, banners, digital advertising
• Implement new online initiatives
• Monitor competitor creatives, industry trends, and creative best practices across the industry
• Self-managing competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
• Ensure consistency of brand and creativity across marketing platforms

Essential Criteria

• Qualification and 2 years’ experience in graphic design
• Strong background in social media management and ad words
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge of the disability sector
• Demonstrated capacity to work with others as part of a team
• Effective written and verbal communication
