In home supports

Our experienced and compassionate support team assist clients in their own homes, including daily personal care and household tasks assistance, such as:

Community Access

Social and Community Participation at Alana care support services is driven by your goals and interests. What does that mean? It means we are able to provide tailored supports consisting of interest-based activities to help you build skills and kick goals. Here are some of the activities that we support participants with:

• Local clubs & communities

Accommodation & Respite

Supported Independent Living accommodation is designed to participants a sense of comfort and safety. Alana Care offer short term accommodation and care, to give carers an opportunity to rest. 

• Safe & Comfortable for all residents.
• Designed to be wheelchair accessible.
• Able to be decorated to make the place your own.
• Close to shops, transport & emergency services.
• Looked after by qualified, experienced staff.

Travel + Transport Assistance

We provide our clients with a range of transport services and public transport travel training. Our safe, highly trained drivers can help you to and from medical and health appointments as well as for shopping, paying bills, accessing community facilities and social occasions like visiting friends.

Accommodation - RESPITE and SIL

Respite Care

We provide highly skilled support for adults, young people and children who require short term or long-term 24-hour care and supervision.

• Laundry service

Supported Independent Living

• help to build your skills in things like meal preparation and cooking, cleaning, and developing a routine
• help to action any behaviour support plans you have

• support to give you your medication
• support for medical appointments
• community access that is not routine or regular, for example, support to complete personal tasks
• support to get to and from community access activities, e.g. attending a hydrotherapy sessions or visiting family outside of the home
